PHASE 1
Pre-Pour Foundation Inspection
Before the foundation is poured, this inspection evaluates the initial setup of the structure. This stage is the most critical because this is what your home will stand on and once concrete is poured, the defects are buried and correction is very difficult.

During this Phase 1 New Construction inspection, we inspect:
-
Site preparation, site drainage and grading review
-
Form board placement, elevation & layout
-
Rebar / post-tension cables where visible layout & coverage
-
Plumbing rough-in verification
-
Site drainage & grade review
-
Foundation elevation baseline
This inspection helps ensure that the foundation is prepared in alignment with construction plans before the pour. We recommend this inspection take place 1-2 days before the concrete is poured. Once you made sure your home is built on a solid foundation for years to come, your next step is your Pre-Drywall Inspection.

PHASE 2
Pre-Dry Wall Framing Inspection
Even if the foundation is poured, focusing on the home structure before walls are closed, is your last opportunity to evaluate what’s behind them and verify the wiring, structure, pipes, and mechanicals before they are covered up for decades to come. Once drywall is installed, many critical systems are no longer visible.

During this phase, we inspect:
-
Framing and structural components
-
Electrical rough-in
-
Plumbing rough-in
-
HVAC ductwork and installation
-
Window and door installation
This stage is very important because it's the only time we can see how the structure and major systems are installed before they are concealed. After sheet rock is installed, it is very expensive to make corrections. We recommend this inspection take place 1-2 days before drywall is installed. Addressing issues during this phase can lead to significant savings, protect your investment and ensure things move along properly in your home building process.
